Asher Plaid Platform Bed Frame

This is a very nice looking bed. The plaid on the headboard is a bit different from the pictures, I actually ended up liking it better in person. It reads almost of a grayish brown, with a bit of greenish hue. In the pictures, it appears more of a charcoal grey. Just set it up so can’t attest to how well it will hold up, but seems pretty sturdy. My biggest complaint is that the hardware packaging was labeled incorrectly and didn’t correspond to the instructions. For instance, the instructions called for bolts in package “P”, but there were washers in package “P”, not bolts. So after figuring out the puzzle that was the hardware, it was fairly easy to assemble.

The plaid on the headboard is poorly lined up and not square, which drives me a little crazy. The gap between the wood pieces on the side is bigger than one would hope as well.

Wow! When I decided to give this bed a try, I was worried that the fabric and headboard would look cheap. Boy was I wrong! Looks very high end and the fabric is durable.

It took a lot longer to set up than expected but it turned out great. Once it’s in place, it feels sturdy but it’s very fragile to move around you need two people to move it without breaking the legs on the bed. Overall, we are happy with the bed frame.
